Made up of 74 works of painting, photography, video, sculpture and installations the show is developed through two independent trips that overlap and juxtapose through shared ideas and cultural differences between both artists. The tow artists share more than being part of the same generation and their passion for American pop culture: their works have roots in their aspirations and adolescent anxieties.

Conceived by the New Museum in New York and curated by Richard Flood, curator in chief of this institution, the show gathers tow artists that explore, through an ample variety of visual aids, the world del of rock 'n' roll and other popular subcultures. They both use popular icons and bands of the 70`s and 80`s like personal substitutes of their contemporary identity...
